Low-voltage coils for resin transformers, manufactured with copper or aluminum conductors in foil, rectangular wire or round wire

We manufacture custom low voltage windings, equipped with state-of-the-art, fully automatic winding machines that allow us to produce both copper and aluminum windings. Generally, low voltage coils are made with strip conductors, but we can also produce low voltage windings with rectangular (flat) conductors or round wire. All the low voltage coils we produce undergo heat treatment in an oven and electrical testing in our test room.

Production is carried out in a manner compliant with the procedures establi-shed for "Quality Assurance" indicated ni the ISO 9001-2000 regulations. In accordance with these regulations, careful checks are performed on all incoming materials supplied for production and processing; in particular checks are run on the wire-type and flat strip-type conductors, the alumi- nium-strip coils and resin. For this purpose we have also installed specific measuring and testing equipment. The photo on this page shows a test being run on a conductor as per IEC 851-1 standards. The checking of production cycles focuses especially on the winding and assembly processes and ensures scrupulous verification of design parameters.

ROUTINE TESTS

The windings may be supplied with a test report including the following items:

• Ratio test

• Resistance test

• Insulation test to ground and secondary circuits

• Partial-discharge test


24-MONTH WARRANTY

The windings are guaranteed for a period of 24 months from the date of delivery. The guarantee si governed by a separate contract undersigned by both parties.
